A spring day on the beautiful river I once lived beside. May 5, 2007 12 years later; a lone swan where I often encountered Itasca.    We found where the painted turtles have been hiding!  Lots of painted turtles. Victim of the recent flood? Or a recent arrival from Kansas?  As far as we could go with the Halkyon.

A tour of the "ULS" in the fall. October 2006  It's used for portages, whatever that means. 3  Us! 3  Them!  Foliage both on and off the trees 3  The skillful transfer of essential snackage  Farquharson! 3 A stone's throw from where we used to live!   Lunch  Gen & Rob't  Lee, Derek, & John 3
