Endewearde Hunt III
Newburg, ME
September 2007

What a marvelous event! This year's Endewearde Hunt featured all the good company, archery, and unseasonably fine weather one could ask for, and Justin's Fish Chowder! Lady Mickel and I shared a rather pleasant camp with our companions from Haus Wanderstamm, Lord Alexandre, Lady Ninian, and Nicholas. The Shire's new and enormous pavilion made its debut; 30' in diameter, and well suited for its intended purpose of storing a dry event during wet weather. The woods walk was back, and again was lots of fun, as were the novelty shoots which made up the rest of the tournament. I understand that there was also a fabulous day board, a combat archery shoot, and an evening of bardic performances, but it was a big site with plenty to do, and we couldn't be everywhere! Our thanks to our hosts and to our campmates for a wonderful event, and our congratulations to Lord Godric for winning the archery tournament.
