Fitchburg, Massachusetts
September 16 - 18, 2011

Professor Gunn, and the Ladies of Max Destruction!**
Dr. Kathryn Bellum Luger, Prof. Maximilian Gunn, Dr. Aurelia Fordhook; the Dark Botanist, and The Right Honorable Miss Vivianne Cravenmoore

The Exhibition was three days of Steam, featuring insightful panels, top-notch vendors, inspiring performances, awesome music, and SCIENCE!  Our thanks to our delightful companions Aurelia and Vivianne for the pleasure of their company, earplugs, and a glorious rant rendered with skill and conviction in God's own French, to the organizers and promoters who pulled this event together and pulled it off, and to the graceful Helena Handbasket of Diabolus in Musica for a lovely cup of tea.

A truly marvelous opening act!A performer watching from the wings.Abney Park!
As it turns out, a class act.
Neither name nor photograph will be included herein of the one unforgivable performance which might have been entertaining as a brief sideliner, but was instead stretched far beyond fatuousness, and unmercifully discharged at a measured 105db.  We simply do not wish to be reminded of the painful price we paid for our otherwise favorable seating.

The Ladies of Max Destruction!Kathryn takes First Prize in the Swimsuit Competition!
In truth Her Edwardian-era wool swimsuit was the only serious entry, but it was perfectly convincing and widely appreciated!
Sunday featured Curio: A Brass Menagerie, a series of short performances by a truly talented bunch of musicians and dancers.***
