Our SCA Personae

Malagentian Yule Feast, January 2005
l-r:  Muirin, Ninian, Max, Mickel, Camille

As participants in the Society for Creative Anachronism, Lee & I each attempt to faithfully recreate a plausible Renaissance persona. And have fun. Lee's persona is Lady Mickel von Salm, an early 16th Century noblewoman from Saxony, and a contemporary of Albrecht Durer and Lucas Cranach the Elder. Mine is Maxton Gunn, one of the many Scotsmen of the late 16th century who furthered their traditional quarrel with the English by enlisting with the French. We are members of Haus Wanderstamm, in the Province of Malagentia, of the Eastern Kingdom.
